Lifetime Warranty

2le Group lifetime warranty policy:

We take great pride in everything we produce, thus we guarantee the quality and performance of all our products. Items with defects in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of 2le group for the practical lifetime of the product. Products damaged through wear and tear, misuse or neglect may be repaired (at the cost of the user), but all items are looked at on an individual case by case basis.

What is covered under the warranty?

Defects in materials or workmanship are covered for the practical lifetime of the product.

Workmanship:

This means the construction and stitching of a product. We are experts in the  techniques of how a product is constructed/manufactured. When we design a new product, we take into account the intended use and thus identify where the main stress and load points will be. We ensure that all stress and load points are covered and stitched according. All products are constructed and stitched together using only the best threads that are sourced within the U.K., this thread is high strength whilst withstanding the harshest of environments.

Defects in materials:

This means an error or floor in the production process that effects the performance of a product.

This however is extremely rare because our raw material suppliers are some of the most reputable companies around. They have strict quality procedures in place and regularly batch test their products. We have an in house process in place that checks for defects at time of manufacture.

What is not covered under warranty?

UV degradation, misuse, neglect, any degradation due to environmental conditions and any damage through normal wear and tear.

Normal wear and tear:

This means the expected decline of the condition of a product due to normal everyday use and environmental conditions. All raw materials have a natural life span where they will start to deteriorate.

Misuse and neglect include things such as rips, tears and burns and can also mean buckle breakages and zip breakages. If a zip or buckle breaks and it is not subject to a defect in materials then it is because the part has exceeded its specification. Eventually buckles and zips will fail, that is part of the natural life of a product. 2le group endeavours to minimise any occurrences by using only the best raw materials available.

UV and environmental conditions meaning when your kit has been left in direct sunshine or in extreme climates for a prolonged period of time so that it goes beyond what the performance of the product is designed to do.

What does the practical lifetime of a product mean?

At 2le group we construct our products to last over extended periods of use, but nothing lasts indefinitely.

What do we mean by practical lifetime etc?

We build our products to last over extended periods of use, but nothing lasts indefinitely. Materials will deteriorate and fade over time and moving parts will wear out. We will cover your product under our warranty policy until such a time that we have deemed the product to be worn out beyond reasonable repair. All gear will suffer from differing degrees of wear-and-tear, depending upon the user and environment.

By taking care of your equipment, you will ensure a longer lifetime for your gear. Please use your judgment when assessing whether your product is likely to be covered under our warranty policy or not; it may simply be time to replace your product. We hope that 2le group will have the opportunity to provide you with superior quality products and service in the future.

Tell us what's happened with your product:

We will always help you in the best and quickest way possible. If you think you may have a warranty claim please inform us honestly about what has happened, it helps us with future product development and manufacture enabling us to make our gear even better and stronger.

We know our products inside and out, so we know exactly what they do and how they perform so we are able to assess if a failure is valid under our warranty. We are here to help and if there is a genuine warranty claim we will always adhere to it.
